In a suburban strip mall fitness studio, middle-aged men in clashing neon workout gear perform joyless, synchronized dance routines each week as a ritual. Amid them, the protagonist—a more agile and expressive man—steals the spotlight with provocative dance routines typically reserved for the likes of Nicki Minaj, all while locking eyes with the camera in unsettling intimacy. The contrast between the men’s stoic choreography and the energetic song creates an eerie yet darkly comedic vibe, reminiscent of a twerking car crash you just can’t look away from. Additional elements could include the band appearing as refracted reflections in the studio mirrors, shouting the lyrics to the men, or the protagonist singing the lyrics directly to the camera.
*To be clear, the young man twerking in the mood board video will be a middle aged man.
WAY OF THE EXPLODING DICKHEAD

A found-footage-style short that humorously chronicles an office worker's descent into chaos. Using a mix of fake black-and-white CCTV footage, smartphone recordings, and traditional filming techniques, we capture the day an everyman or everywoman finally snaps. Unsuspecting coworkers try to talk them down as inanimate office objects bear the brunt of their trauma. Strategic subtitles referencing the song lyrics add a layer of humor and intent: "I'm just a normal man!"
